Erin’s tenacity inspires new children’s book

Meet Erin, an amazing young woman with severe cerebral palsy who’s had a special helping hand to maximise her communication, education and quality of life. Her journey has inspired a new book, Erin and the Mouse, written and illustrated by SpecialEffect Ambassador Clare Latham, a Speech and Language therapist who’s been a vital part of building Erin’s voice for over a decade.
We’d like to say a huge thank you to Clare, who will be kindly gifting her share of royalties from the book to help the work of SpecialEffect. Erin and the Mouse is available from GB Publishing Ltd from 11 November 2023.
