John’s winning races again in Forza thanks to a custom controller setup created by our specialist assessment team that makes the most of some of the game’s range of accessibility settings.
John has Duchenne muscular dystrophy and has very limited movements in his hands and fingers. In this video he explains how we’re helping him to game to the best of his abilities, and the positive impact it’s having.
“One of the best feelings, being able to play again properly, the way I want to,” he smiles. “When you play online as well you can be more sociable with the person you’re playing… It feels a bit more equal that you can actually beat them. And then they go mad!”
Many thanks to Xbox, Turn 10 Studios, Playground Games, Al Compton, John and our Specialist Occupational Therapist Cam for making this video possible.
