What a lovely photo of Saim sharing some gaming magic with his sisters! His cerebral affects mainly his arms, and the family was struggling to find something that they could all enjoy together.
The family visited our Games Room, and our specialist assessment team worked with Saim to create a cooperative play setup that worked by splitting the controls using a Microsoft Xbox Adaptive Controller. Here they’re playing Yoshi’s Crafted World; Saim’s pressing his switch to get Yoshi to eat enemies, while his younger sister presses her switch to jump and his older sister uses a standard Xbox controller for the rest of the controls.
It’s a real honour to be part of kick-starting this much-needed family inclusion. Saim’s an incredible young man and we’re sure this is just the beginning of his gaming journey!
