“SpecialEffect have been close to my heart after finding out about them through my friend Jordan in 2014. Their work has always been incredibly inspirational and important, and the help they give people is a wonderful reminder of the goodness of communities. When SpecialEffect approached IGDA Scotland back in 2017 asking for people to take part in the Great Women’s 10k, it genuinely changed my life. Thanks to them I ran for the first time since school, and pushed myself each year to try new things. I’m extremely honoured to have been asked to be an Ambassador for such a brilliant charity, and I can’t wait to work together. I hope I can help them as much as they’ve helped me.”
